Prepare your teen for making & keeping friends with PEERS
How the 16-week program works
An individualized intake report is created by the Speech Pathologist after interviewing parent and teen. $245, one time fee
Your teen will join a group of other similarly-aged teens to engage in role play and didactic lessons to help them understand friendship scenarios.
Sessions are twice a week; once with the parent and speech pathologist and another with speech pathologist and your teen.
Parents on Tuesdays $75/session
These sessions are geared toward parent/caregiver training to help you be the best social coach possible for your teen. Homework will be reviewed and this week’s upcoming lesson will be discussed.
Teens on Thursdays $75/session
These sessions start with a homework review before the teens are introduced to the new topic/skills that are being taught. Didactic lessons include discussion about the skill as well as the opportunity to role-play with peers and see examples of appropriate/inappropriate use of skills.
